WHILE WE SLEEP
While We Sleep is a short film by director Nadeem Gibran Salaam highlighting his problems with insomnia, it also explores the cross-section of plant life and the elements amongst gentrifying cities like Brooklyn, New York, in this avant-garde debut. Using audio field recordings and still video captured around his neighborhood in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, well past 2 am. It has screened in indie theatres and arts communities across Brooklyn.
